The church today faces a big challenge to people who have given their lives to Christ many of them lack income-generating activities and many people even after salvation remain a burden to the church.

Full gospel churches of Uganda organize training on how to start a business which empowers pastors and believers with knowledge and skills in financial literacy, business planning, and entrepreneurship.

VILLAGE SAVING AND LOANS ASSOCIATION (VSLA)

Believers of Full Gospel churches of Uganda are mobilized and trained to form Village Saving and village Association (VSLA) to enable them to acquire savings and loan services.in doing that some of our groups have been able to start the Savings and Credit Cooperative Organization (SACCO) which does not only impact the group but the community at large.

Environmental factors such as   poverty and material deprivation, health behaviours, parents’ education level and intimate partner violence have contributed to child vulnerability leading to an increase in the disadvantaged families in Africa

Failure to education leads to a high rate of unwanted teenage pregnancy, human trafficking, domestic violence and early marriage

Full gospel churches in response to its vision of “MINISTERING TO THE HURTING WORLD IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”. Full gospel churches mobilize local resources to sponsor these children in different parts of Uganda (James 2:15:16). These sponsored children are being offered school fees, scholastic materials like books, clothes, bedding, food and etc. Some of the areas reached include the slums of Nsambya, Amudati,

Due to COVID 19 that led to the closure of schools more families have been affected and as churches of Christ, we feel there is a gap to enable these young people to attain their education and have all the required materials as the schools are being reopened.

Full Gospel churches of Uganda is having intentions of extending its support to other parts like  Gulu  Karamonja, Nebbi and other parts of Uganda if Support allows

Currently, there are 3 health units in Kampala; Nsambya Full Gospel church, Ntungamo and Nebbi Maternity centre which is still under construction.

Full Gospel churches of Uganda in making of disciples of all nation encourages pastors to start up Christian schools in their communities to cater for orphans and disadvantaged children. So far 100 schools of Pre-Primary and Primary Schools within the  Republic of Uganda have been established.  We encourage churches to establish schools to transform communities with Christian values. We have enrolled some of these children in our schools and they have turned up to be beneficial to our nation as some have become Doctors, Engineers, and Pastor.

Our schools are encouraged to adopt co-curricular activities into their school program. Some of these vocational skills include; tailoring, basket weaving, brick making, and catering extra.

What we believe

Our lives are to be centred on the Gospel (our treasures are in heaven, not earth).  We understand that we learn and we are shaped as we live in Christian communities. Ourkingdom values include servanthood, and the stewardship of the earth. Ultimately, we long for our community members to exhibit a Christ-like character; to be inclusive, demonstrate humility, practice forgiveness, and exercise hospitality.

Our proposal 

To start Secondary Schools, Tertiary Institutions and a University. With the help of partners across the globe Full Gospel Churches of Uganda will raise knowledgeable, God-fearing and Bible-saturated children who are fully empowered to transform their communities and the nation as a whole.
